Roadtrip Ring

In one of our long student winter holidays (miss those!), my class friends and I decided to roadtrip to each of our hometowns. We unfortunetely had to skip the Keetmanshoop stop due to it being completely off the route to the other towns. My friend from Keetmans had made a small silver ring that she wore on the roadtrip. It was a simple silver ring with a little half jumpring, to which she tied odd things she collected as the trip went a long. A piece of thread from one of our jerseys, a small shell she picked up in St Francis, a button she had lost somewhere a long the trip... And so the little ring became the roadtrip ring.

I thought of the little ring this past week, and I remebered my friends love of pearls. And so, the little road trip ring, has now become the little Alet ring.

With earrings to match.

'Alet, ons moet nog n draai maak in Keetmans : )'
